The unidentified woman claims she was approached by “a man associated with Bridgestone Arena” who said he’d take her backstage to meet Drake and Future.
Instead the man, Leavy Johnson, “suddenly … pushed Jane Doe to the ground and violently assaulted her, shattering her cell phone and causing severe physical and psychological injury.”[Related: Drake and Future announced Summer 16 tour dates.]
Johnson, who had outstanding warrants at the time of the incident, has since been arrested and charged with rape. He is currently awaiting trial.
The woman claims the arena, the touring company, Drake and Future should have known that employing Johnson would “pose an unreasonable risk to others.”
She is seeking no less than $25 million.
Neither Drake nor Future has commented on the lawsuit.
